Members of the weasel family, mink are semi-aquatic, carnivorous mammals related to ferrets. They typically have a rusty brown coat with occasional patches of white on the chest and chin. Today, their threatened range is currently limited to the shallow freshwater marshes and wetlands of Everglades National Park.
