Since 2018, we have partnered with local nature centers to engaging children and adults to join us in art-making in our beautiful local parks, preserves, and nature centers.
Our first class was held at Weedon Island Preserve, with the goal of supporting the preserves with a donation from our first class. The classes were so popular that we expanded to five new locations by 2019. Our last class of 2020 was taught at Biscayne National Park, prior to the pandemic. While on lock-down, we taught classes online and provided new materials for our artists to continue learning.
